Waking the Cadaver is a death metal band from Sayreville, New Jersey, active since 2006. After an early demo as Death to Honor, they adopted their current name and developed a reputation for their intense, aggressive sound. Their discography includes four albums, from their 2007 debut Perverse Recollections of a Necromangler to Authority Through Intimidation in 2021. The band is currently signed to Unique Leader Records.
