The Ranger 6 features the classic Dreadnought shape with a Spruce top and Linden back and sides. The neck is made of Okoumé with a 20-fret South American Roupana fingerboard, plastic saddle and nut. Ranger is undoubtedly the word that resonates most in Eko's history and has helped to establish it as a brand in Europe. Beginning with the name J-52, this guitar was updated and improved each time until the J-54 (6-string) and J-56 (12-string) versions were named Ranger VI and Ranger XII respectively in 1967.
