New Years Day is a rock band from Anaheim, California, formed in 2005. They gained early attention through MySpace before releasing their self-titled debut EP in 2006 and first full-length album My Dear in 2007. Known for their energetic style, the band later released Victim to Villain and their most successful album, Malevolence, which reached number 45 on the Billboard 200.
