UFO

UFO

UFO was an English rock band formed in London in 1968, widely recognized for bridging early hard rock, heavy metal, and the new wave of British heavy metal. The group gained prominence with a classic lineup featuring Phil Mogg, Andy Parker, Pete Way, Paul Raymond, and Michael Schenker, and underwent numerous lineup changes throughout their history, with Mogg remaining the sole constant member. UFO released 23 studio albums and are best known for songs like Doctor Doctor, Rock Bottom, Lights Out, and Too Hot to Handle. Achieving commercial success in the late 1970s and early 1980s, UFO influenced generations of hard rock and metal bands and sold over 20 million records worldwide. The band ultimately disbanded in 2024 after multiple breakups, and was ranked among VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.
