Schaller Lockmeister 6 Tremolo — German-Made Double-Locking Tremolo System

The Schaller Lockmeister 6 Trem 32 Block 16 Radius R3 is a 6-string double-locking tremolo built in Germany from hardened C45 steel. CNC-milled from hardened steel, the baseplate, saddles, and locking nut are paired with a 32 mm brass sustain block. This version uses a 406.4 mm tremolo radius and an R3-width locking nut (42.9 mm), suited to flatter fingerboards. Dimensionally identical to the original Floyd Rose, it drops into existing routings without modification.

Choosing the right configuration

Match the tremolo radius and nut width to your fingerboard — for compound-radius necks, pick a smaller radius at the nut and a larger one at the bridge. The 32 mm brass block keeps weight at 442 g while adding sustain. Maximum string gauge is 2.03 mm; E-to-E spacing is 54 mm.
