Tiny Thumb Pianos by Soundiron is a modernized version of the ancient African Mbira, also known as a kalimba or sanza. This library captures the gentle and melodic percussive plucking sound with a marimba-like warmth and tonal body. It is designed for the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5 or later.

• Sound Content: Includes recordings of each tine in wide stereo, close and dry, performed in unison and solo. The Duo and Solo plucks were captured with 10 round-robins per velocity layer, averaging 8 velocity layers per note. The library also features percussive hits, slides, taps, glisses, and other FX to enhance realism.
• Interface Features: Offers a suite of automation-ready sound-shaping controls, including swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, pitch (coarse & fine), articulation switching, cross-fading, and layering. Additionally, it includes 20 custom sound-designed FX presets and 20 ambient organic soundscapes created from the source content.
• Effects Rack: Comes with 18 DSP effect modules such as phaser, flanger, delay, distortion, amp and cab simulators, compressors, EQ, and convolution reverb with 99 different spaces and 40 custom FX impulses.
• Additional Features: The library includes an adaptable LFO system and a customizable arpeggiator with a velocity table, key/scale lock system, and control over arp direction, timing, swing, randomization, and duration.

This library provides extensive sound-shaping capabilities, making it a versatile tool for composers and sound designers. It is not compatible with the free KONTAKT Player.
