Cody Johnson is an American country artist known for blending contemporary and neo-traditional country styles, inspired by George Strait and Willie Nelson. After independently releasing six albums, including Gotta Be Me, which reached number two on Billboard’s Country Albums chart, he signed with a major label for Ain’t Nothin’ to It in 2019. Johnson followed up with Human: The Double Album in 2021. His single 'Til You Can't earned two CMA Awards in 2022, and his album Leather was named CMA Album of the Year in 2024.
