Krokus is a Swiss hard rock band formed in 1975 in Solothurn by Chris von Rohr and Tommy Kiefer, who previously played together in the group Kaktus. Gaining significant popularity in North America during the 1980s, Krokus reached a wider audience after former TEA singer Marc Storace became their frontman for the release of the influential album Metal Rendez-vous in 1980. The band is known for its powerful sound and contribution to the international rock scene.
