Mirai (meaning "future" in Japanese) is a Czech pop band. Formed in 2014, they hail from the town of Frýdek-Místek. The band is led by frontman, singer, and guitarist Mirai Navrátil, alongside drummer Šimon Bílý, bassist Michal Stulík, and guitarist Tomáš Javůrek. Their collection of accolades includes Český slavík awards, the Anděl Award, and the Evropa 2 Music Award. Mirai stand out primarily for their spontaneity and their knack for writing "instant hits." While their music is straightforward, it is expertly crafted and fueled by optimism, earning them a massive fanbase across all generations. They have repeatedly sold out Prague’s O2 Arena, which is considered a symbolic "entry into the league of legends" for any Czech band.
