Corey Woods, known as Raekwon, is an American rapper and a founding member of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan. Rising to fame with the group’s groundbreaking 1993 debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), Raekwon later launched a successful solo career. His 1995 album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... became a classic of 1990s hip-hop, praised for its vivid storytelling and lyrical depth. While subsequent albums drew mixed reception, his 2009 release Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... Pt. II was widely celebrated by fans and critics alike. Renowned for his gritty, richly detailed street narratives, Raekwon is regarded as one of rap’s most influential voices and also established his own label, ICE H20 Records.
