Snare Trap is a drum-machine through which you play guitar or synthesizer/keyboards! It is designed to be used either on the table - by hand - or on the floor - by foot. The drum sounds are bass drum, snare and hi-hat, which can be separately triggered externally by CV - so it's very useful for modular synths.

It has handy shortcuts to get the beat going quickly, plus lots of inspiring features and effects, including delay, low-pass filter (manual or controlled LFO), side-chain and correctable tap tempo. There is a pad for adding drumfills and white noise effects, which is also used to enter the tempo.

Snare Trap is an analog/digital hybrid and creates its own sounds internally - no pre-recorded samples. The tap tempo, delay, and white noise snare and hi-hat section are digital, the bass drum, snare and hi-hat shaping, low-pass filter, and side-chain circuit are analog.

The main snare drum is always on the "2" and "4" beat, but the delay effect moves the ghost snare hits wherever you want. Wet or dry options are available, in addition, it is possible to adjust the shape of the snare strike - by adding a handclap-like effect. Snare fills (and white noise clumps) can be added live using the master pad.

The first bass drum is always on the "1" beat, while the second (there are two) can be moved anywhere. Snare Trap can do any swing feeling.

The hi-hat is either 8-to-the-bar or 4, but on the offbeat.

Tap tempo is correctable, meaning that with one or more corrective taps on the master pad, the tempo can be adjusted to sync with other songs or instruments for long periods of time.

Snare Trap is fantastic for all electric instrumentalists who play to a beat where live drums are not suitable. The rhythm and your instrument blend together - so the Snare Trap is great for single-input amps. There is a "hi/lo" input switch to handle higher signal levels from active instruments and keyboards. It works from a normal 9V pedal power supply.
