People Under The Stairs

People Under the Stairs was a hip hop duo from Los Angeles, active from 1997 to 2019. Comprised of Christopher Portugal and Michael Turner, they were known for their hands-on approach, handling all aspects of their music from sampling to production. While they didn't reach mainstream chart success, they gained recognition and respect within the hip hop community for their unique style and independent spirit.
