The Walrus Audio Eons Five-State Fuzz pushes fuzz tones to their extremes with five clipping modes and a unique Voltage control that adjusts the internal operating voltage from 3 V to 18 V. This combination allows the Eons to produce everything from starved, sputtery vintage fuzz at lower voltages to a tight, full-powered modern fuzz at higher settings. A two-band EQ with Bass and Treble controls rounds out the feature set for precise tonal sculpting.

Five Fuzz Clipping Modes

The rotary switch offers five distinct clipping configurations: State I uses silicon clipping for a traditional fuzz character; State II adds a bass boost to the silicon circuit for added low-end weight; State III employs germanium clipping for a dynamic, touch-sensitive vintage response; State IV uses LED clipping for a darker, more compressed tone; and State V combines hard silicon, LED, and soft silicon clipping for the most aggressive, wall-of-sound character in the lineup.

Voltage Control

The Voltage knob is one of the Eons' most distinctive features, allowing the player to starve or boost the internal supply voltage across the 3–18 V range. Lower voltage settings introduce the sag and sputter characteristic of battery-depleted vintage fuzzes, while higher settings tighten the response and increase headroom for a more modern sound.

The Eons features true bypass switching and operates on a 9 V DC center-negative power supply drawing 100 mA. Dimensions are 2.62 × 4.77 × 2.25 inches. The Black edition features an all-black finish.
