The Arturia KeyLab Essential 61 mk3 White is a 61-key universal MIDI controller built around a velocity-sensitive hybrid synth-piano keybed. Spanning five octaves, it bridges virtual instruments and recording workflows with hands-on control over plug-ins. The white finish with signature wood-look endpieces fits cleanly into modern studio setups.
Built-in creative tools and deep DAW integration
Running directly on the firmware, a multi-mode arpeggiator, chord mode, and scale mode capture every note as proper MIDI in the DAW. With a 2.5" LCD screen and contextual buttons, preset browsing and parameter tweaking are direct and intuitive. Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, and Bitwig Studio are supported by custom DAW scripts for immediate compatibility, while MCU/HUI and NKS support extend integration further.
Velocity-sensitive keybed and performance controls
- Keys: 61 velocity-sensitive keys with hybrid synth-piano feel — five-octave span for layered parts
- For creative programming, 8 touch- and pressure-sensitive RGB pads enable drum programming, clip launching, and MIDI triggering
- Pitch bend and modulation wheels are placed next to octave and transpose buttons for quick range adjustment
