Baloji, born in 1978, is a Belgian-Congolese rapper, singer, and film director. He began his career as MC Balo with the hip-hop group Starflam before launching his solo career in 2008. In addition to his music, Baloji gained international recognition with his film Omen, which premiered at Cannes in 2023 and won the New Voice Prize. The film also represented Belgium at the 96th Academy Awards.
