INSPIRED ACOUSTICS Notre Dame de Budapest Looped Edition (Digitalt produkt)

A Real Cathedral Pipe Organ in Your Studio

The Notre Dame de Budapest Looped Edition brings two real Hungarian symphonic organs — the organs of Notre Dame de Buda and Notre Dame de Kispest — into a modern DAW. The library contains 62 stops and pre-recorded combinations, sampled in 24-bit / 48 kHz quality with more than 3000 individual samples. It runs in the full version of Kontakt 4 or later on Mac and Windows, delivered as a 9 GB download. The Looped Edition is the larger of the two Kontakt editions of NDB; the Compact Edition offers 10 stops and combinations.

What Makes This Library Special

Unlike most organ libraries, this one captures the natural cathedral ambience through both impulse-response reverbs and release-trigger samples, so the sound feels like it was recorded inside the actual building. The swellbox and tremolo effects can be controlled in real time, and long loops averaging 2 to 8 seconds keep sustained notes alive without sounding dead or sterile.

Who This Library Is For

This library is the right choice for composers, producers and church musicians who need an authentic pipe organ sound without access to a real cathedral instrument. It suits anyone working on classical, sacred or film-score music who wants the depth of a symphonic organ inside a DAW. It requires the full version of Kontakt 4 or later (or a compatible sampler); the patches load by double-clicking the .nki files, and the library is not compatible with Hauptwerk.
