The Behringer FX2000 Virtualizer 3D is a 1U rack-mountable multi-effects processor built around 71 algorithms and Real Sound Modeling (RSM) stereo and 3D effects. It targets keyboards, guitars, bass and vocals in studio and live rigs.

What Sets the FX2000 Apart

Each preset exposes up to 7 editable parameters plus a dedicated 2-band EQ. Effects can be chained in serial or parallel configurations. Ultra Bass, Stereo Imager, Ultra Wide and Binauralizer are included in the psychoacoustic engine — these tools are usually found on specialized mastering processors.

Reverb, Delay and Modulation Library

Within the reverb section, you'll find 12 distinct programs from Cathedral to Gated Reverb. The delay bank covers Stereo Delay, Tape Echo and Ping Pong, and the modulation section features Flanger, Chorus, Phaser, Leslie, Pitch Shifter, Vibrato, Tremolo and Auto Panning.

Conversion, Connectivity and MIDI

Audio conversion runs at 24-bit AD/DA with 64/128-times oversampling. On the rear panel, balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs and outputs are provided along with a switchable -10 dB pad. MIDI in/out/thru ports are joined by SysEx dump capability.

In addition to dynamic effects, a distortion bank adds Vocal/Tube Distortion, Guitar Amp, Tri-Fuzz, Speaker Simulation, Ring Modulator and Lo-Fi for tonal versatility.
