Savoy Brown was a British blues rock band formed in Battersea, London in 1965. Led throughout by guitarist and songwriter Kim Simmonds, they became a key part of the late 1960s blues rock scene. After several early albums, they found their main success in the United States, building a following through consistent touring and eventually reaching the Billboard Hot 100 during the late 1960s and 1970s. Simmonds remained at the band’s core until his death in 2022.
