Epiphone Les Paul Custom Plus EX Midnight Ebony

Electric guitar from Prophecy series that was first introduced in 2008 and hailed by metal players the world over as the ultimate combination of tradition and innovation and the perfect guitar for serious shredding, all within the stylish lines of the classic Les Paul form. This model brings back the axe loved by metal shredders around the world, plus the EX Outfit includes elegant pearloid and abalone block and triangle inlays and individual volume and tone controls for each pickup. Body of the instrument is made of mahogany, as well as the neck, and features a quilt maple top. The glued-in set neck features a SpeedTaper D-profile and a satin finish, and is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and a 14” radius. Scale length is 628.65 mm, nut width is 42.672 mm. The guitar is equipped with EMG humbucker pickups (EMG-85 in the neck position, EMG-81 in the bridge position) and an Epiphone all-metal 3-way toggle selector. Sound can be further adjusted via two Tone and two Volume controls with metal barrel knobs with mother-of-pearl inlaid tops. Other features include a graphite nut fret, Grover 14:1 tuners, a LockTone tune-o-matic bridge with LockTone Stopbar tailpiece, Epiphone exclusive non-rotating heavy-duty output jack strap locks, and D’Addario strings (gauges: .010, .013, .017, .026, .036, .046).
