Hybrid CD player with DAC function

xDuoo CDM10 is a portable audiophile CD player that also functions as a full-fledged high-resolution USB DAC. The design is based on a fully symmetrical architecture with two Cirrus Logic CS43198 converters and a pair of Raytheon JAN6418 tubes, which offers the option of choosing between a pure transistor expression and a richer tube character. The CDM10 thus combines the world of classic physical media with modern digital listening in one compact device that is suitable for both desktop and portable use.

Two sound characters and high resolution

The pair of CS43198 DAC chips operate in a fully symmetrical four-channel connection, which contributes to high signal purity, low noise and very good resolution of details. The analog section with a pair of real JAN6418 tubes allows you to easily switch between Transistor mode, which focuses on neutrality, accuracy and transparency, and Tube mode, which adds a softer, more musical and harmonious presentation. In USB DAC mode, the player supports PCM up to 32 bit / 384 kHz, DSD256 and MQA decoding up to 8x, so it can handle even modern hi-res recordings.

Accurate disc reading and strong headphone output

The CD drive was designed directly by xDuoo and uses an optimized servo system, fast error correction and double anti-vibration isolation for stable and accurate reading of CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs. There is also optional upsampling 2x or 4x for finer treble and more coherent spatial presentation. The headphone section offers a very solid power of up to 1087 mW at 32 Ω via a 4.4mm balanced output and up to 632 mW at 32 Ω via 3.5mm and 6.35mm single-ended outputs, so the CDM10 can easily handle a wide range of headphones.

Connectivity, power and everyday use

The xDuoo CDM10 is equipped with an above-standard rich connector equipment. In addition to the three headphone outputs, it also offers an RCA line output, coaxial S/PDIF and optical Toslink output for connection to an external DAC or home Hi-Fi system. The built-in 6000mAh battery allows for portable operation, while the external 12V / 2A power supply ensures maximum stability during desktop use. Clear 1.9" TFT color display, auto power off function and sleep mode increase comfort during everyday listening.
