Clarett 2 PRE USB audio interface is a basic model of the Clartett product line designed especially for home studio work. Thanks to its compact size and USB power, it can be used on the go. It has A / D and D / A converters with a maximum resolution of up to 24-bit / 192kHz and has a dynamic range of up to 119 dB. The AIR circuit emulates the impedance and resonance properties of the input transformers of the legendary ISA series studio preamplifiers. This delivers airy and clear sound with ultra-low distortion and minimal noise of -128 dB. Another specialty is gain potentiometers with a perfectly linear gain curve. Of course there is a phantom power supply 48V.

Clarett 2 PRE USB has 2 combined microphone and instrument HiZ inputs. The ADAT interface accepts an additional 8 inputs. There are 4 line TRS outputs, two of which can be used for monitoring with anti-thump technology. Headphone output and MIDI In / Out enhance connectivity. The new USB-C allows direct power supply without the need for a DC adapter, however, the adapter is included for USB 2.0 or higher. Comes complete with two USB cables and a software package of music applications from XLN Audio, Focusrite plug-ins and mobile router Focusrite Control, Softube, Ableton Live Lite and Loopmasters with 2GB samples.
