Sound holes on the bass-string side of the instrument enhance lower-frequency projection. The bass also features a satin-finished maple neck and a black-stained rosewood fretboard. A full 34" scale delivers harmonically rich timbres across the instrument's entire range. With its onboard compressor, both the OP-Pro preamp and the OCP-1K pickup provide control over the attack and sustain of every note.
