Zoom MS-70CDR Plus MultiStomp — 149 Spatial Effects in a Single Stompbox

The Zoom MS-70CDR Plus is a compact multi-effects pedal that delivers 149 mono and stereo effects in a single stompbox. Four banks cover 43 chorus and modulation types, 29 delays with up to 4 seconds of time, 33 studio-grade reverbs and 44 dynamics/filter processors. Thanks to a redesigned analogue input stage, the dry signal's flat phase response is preserved for sharp transients and clean low end, even with multiple effects in use.

What Sets the MS-70CDR Plus Apart

Two design choices distinguish this MultiStomp from typical single-effect pedals. Stage visibility is enhanced by a color-coded LCD backlight that shifts hue by effect family — blue for chorus, purple for delay, green for reverb — so the active category is always apparent. Four Cross Key switches allow players to jump between patches and effect slots with a tap, removing the need for menu navigation.

Effects Engine — Six Simultaneous Slots

Inside a single patch, up to 6 effects can be stacked in any order, with 100 user slots and 80 factory presets ready out of the box. Each effect features expanded parameters adjustable via four encoder knobs, while the Handy Guitar Lab iOS app provides deeper editing and a growing library of community patches.

Stereo imaging stays consistent from input to output with 6.3 mm TS jacks for passive/active pickups and line-level instruments like synthesizers. USB-C supports MIDI remote patch changes and bus power, with 9V DC adapter or two AA batteries providing backup power options when needed.
