David Lee Roth is an American rock singer best known as the flamboyant frontman of Van Halen, leading the band through its most successful years from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s and again during major reunions, including their record-breaking 2007 tour. Celebrated for his high-energy stage presence, Roth also built a notable solo career with hits like California Girls, Yankee Rose, and Just Like Paradise. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Van Halen in 2007.
