Gretsch Musikkinstrumenter

American company founded in 1883 by German immigrant Friedrich Gretsch. He put great emphasis on precision and quality. Until his sudden death in 1895 he produced banjos, tambourines and drums. But his 15-year-old son did not deny entrepreneurial spirit in him and brought the company to the position of one of the leading manufacturers of musical instruments. Today, the Gretsch belongs to the stars of the music world and their instruments are known for their unmistakable shape of electric guitars, basses and the ukulele.
