Electro-acoustic guitar with cutaway dreadnought body shape from Artwood series that was crafted to produce a traditional as well as a modern guitar – this model therefore respects the rich tradition of the acoustic guitar while adding modern interpretations in the search for the ultimate in guitar tone. It features a top made of solid Sitka spruce that, combined with mahogany back and sides with satin finish, provides powerful and crispy sound with richer low-mid. Body further features a tortoiseshell binding. The mahogany neck, connected via dovetail joint, is fitted with a 400mm-radius rosewood fingerboard with maple dot inlays and 20 frets. Scale length is 651 mm, nut width is 43 mm. The guitar is equipped with the Fishman Sonicore piezo pickup and the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp with on-board tuner that delivers excellent reproduction and control of tonal characteristics and easy operation, while 1/4" and XLR outputs provide options for a variety of direct plug-in applications. Preamp requires 9V battery for operation. Other features include Grover chrome open gear tuners with butterbean knobs, bone string nut, rosewood bridge with compensated bone saddle and D’Addario EXP11 Coated 80/20 Bronze, Light strings (.012-.053). The bridge is equipped with the Ibanez Advantage bridge pins that are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Light Violin Sunburst colour design with high gloss finish.
