Leviathan is a one-man black metal project from the United States, founded in 1998 by Jef Whitehead, who creates all music and vocals himself. Known for his dark, atmospheric sound, Whitehead is also a tattoo artist and the creator behind Lurker of Chalice, an experimental project that released two demos and an album before concluding in 2005.
