Meinl Jam Cajon Almond Birch

Compact, lightweight cajon from Jam series that features fixed internal snares and is easy to carry, which makes it perfect for playing on the go. Its body crafted in Europe from 7 plies (9mm) of Baltic birch plywood (Betula pendula) combined with a front plate from the same material with almond finish has great low end punch when played near the centre and dishes out snare drum ''slap'' sounds when striking the top corners of the playing surface. These sounds are perfect for providing the rhythmic foundation for acoustic music. The dual internal snares are fitted to rest against the inside of the front plate for a sensitive response. The cajon also features rubber feet and a rear sound port. Dimensions: 267 x 381 x 286 mm.
