Damar varnish. The final Damar varnish with UV protection is applied on the completely dried painting. It creates an impenetrable surface, flattens the painting and protects it from dirt and light. It is based on high quality damar resin. It is primarily designed for oil paints, but can also be used on acrylic paints.

It is necessary to let the painting dry completely before applying the varnish:

• oil paints depending on type and quantity 1-6 months
• acrylic paints, depending on the type and quantity, several days to 2 weeks

Application. Apply in a thin layer with a wide brush, as evenly as possible. You can repeat in multiple coats. It is completely dry if it does not stick when touched.
