Soundiron’s Vibraphone Effects is an advanced virtual instrument library offering an extensive collection of concert vibraphone articulations and extended techniques. Captured in collaboration with Pearl Drums, the recordings feature a 4-octave Adams Alpha vibraphone with gold anodized aluminum bars, showcasing an array of non-traditional playing styles including bowing, finger and hand techniques, and performances using wooden and rubber mallets.

With over 24GB of content, this library is designed for cinematic scoring, modern jazz, experimental composition, and any genre that benefits from richly tonal, long-sustaining, and eclectic tuned percussion. The vibraphone was recorded with exceptionally close microphone placement to capture deep nuance and resonance. Each preset utilizes a powerful 4-layer interface, allowing full control over independent articulations, arpeggiators, filters, LFOs, and shaping parameters. Customizable motor speed settings enable smooth transitions from steady tones to expressive vibrato, making it easy to design complex, layered textures and unique sonic landscapes.
