Billy Gibbons is an American rock musician best known as the guitarist and lead vocalist of ZZ Top, the band's only constant member since its formation in 1969. Before ZZ Top, he played in Moving Sidewalks, who opened for the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Gibbons launched a solo career in 2015 with the album Perfectamundo and has appeared with numerous artists as well as acting in television, including a recurring role on Bones. He is recognized as one of rock's greatest guitarists, ranked 32nd by Rolling Stone in 2001.
