Bonnie Raitt is an acclaimed American singer, guitarist, and songwriter known for her unique blend of blues, rock, folk, and country influences. After releasing her debut album in 1971, she became a respected figure both as a solo artist and as a collaborator with musicians such as Warren Zevon, Little Feat, and John Prine. Raitt achieved major commercial success with her 1989 album Nick of Time, which topped the Billboard 200 and won the Grammy for Album of the Year. She followed with multi-platinum albums Luck of the Draw and Longing in Their Hearts, featuring hits like Something to Talk About and I Can't Make You Love Me. Her 2022 song Just Like That earned the Grammy for Song of the Year. Over her career, Raitt has won 13 Grammy Awards and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. She is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a Kennedy Center Honoree, and consistently ranks among the greatest singers and guitarists of all time.
