Danzig is an American heavy metal band formed in 1987 in Lodi, New Jersey by Glenn Danzig, formerly of Misfits and Samhain. The classic lineup featured Glenn Danzig on vocals and keyboards, John Christ on guitar, Eerie Von on bass, and Chuck Biscuits on drums. Known for blending dark gothic tones with bluesy rock and metal, the band gained wide recognition with the hit "Mother." By 2023, Danzig has released twelve studio albums, including two cover albums, along with several EPs and a live album.
