Laurent Daumail, known as DJ Cam, is a French record producer recognized for blending hip hop with jazz, dub, and ambient influences through sample-based compositions. Rising to prominence in the 1990s with albums like Underground Vibes and Underground Live, he became a key figure in the early trip hop and ambient hip-hop scenes. DJ Cam founded the record label Inflamable and has also produced compilations and albums for other artists. His 1996 album Abstract Manifesto was ranked among the top ten trip hop albums by Fact magazine.
