John Frusciante is an acclaimed American guitarist best known for his work with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, contributing to some of their most successful albums including Mother's Milk, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Californication, By the Way, and Stadium Arcadium. He joined the band at 19 and has been a key part of three different lineups. Frusciante has also built an innovative solo career, releasing numerous albums and EPs that blend styles from acoustic and experimental rock to electronic music. Beyond his solo work, he explores acid house under the name Trickfinger and has released music with the group Ataxia. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 with the Chili Peppers, Frusciante is widely recognized as one of the greatest guitarists of his generation.
