Talib Kweli Greene, born on October 3, 1975, is an influential American rapper from Brooklyn. He first gained prominence in 1997 as part of the duo Black Star with Mos Def, now known as Yasiin Bey. Kweli later built a successful solo career, collaborating with artists and producers like Kanye West, Just Blaze, and Pharrell Williams. In 2011, he launched his own record label, Javotti Media.
