Vardis are a hard rock and heavy metal trio from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, known for their energetic blend of hard rock, boogie rock, and heavy metal. Emerging during the height of the new wave of British heavy metal, the band found success from 1978 to 1986 and reunited in 2014. The classic lineup featured Steve Zodiac on guitar and vocals, Alan Selway on bass, and Gary Pearson on drums, with Terry Horbury later taking over on bass.
