Wilko Johnson, born John Andrew Wilkinson, was an influential English guitarist, singer, songwriter, and occasional actor. Best known for his work with the 1970s pub rock and rhythm and blues band Dr. Feelgood, he developed a unique fingerstyle guitar technique that allowed him to play rhythm and lead parts simultaneously, creating a sharp, percussive sound. Johnson and Dr. Feelgood played a key role in shaping the English punk scene. Beyond music, he also appeared as Ser Ilyn Payne in the HBO series Game of Thrones.
