Winger is an American hard rock band formed in New York City in 1987. Rising to fame with platinum albums in the late 1980s and early 1990s, they are known for hits like Seventeen, Headed for a Heartbreak, and Miles Away. The band received an American Music Award nomination in 1990 and released three albums before disbanding in 1994 as musical trends shifted. Winger reunited in 2001 and has continued to tour and release new music, including their most recent album, Seven, in 2023.
