Signature electric bass guitar with Precision Bass body shape from limited edition of Artist series that was designed in collaboration with Adam Clayton from U2 and has striking Purple Sparkle polyurethane finish which contrasts perfectly with the maple neck and fingerboard. With its lightweight alder body and bolt-on neck with Adam Clayton “C” Custom profile it delivers typical punchy PB sounds with mid-focused attack. The 9.5'' radius of the fingerboard provides a vintage feel, in combination with 20 vintage medium frets and abalone block inlays. Scale length is 864 mm, width of the synthetic bone nut is 35.8 mm. The bass guitar is equipped with two Custom Shop ‘60s Split Single-Coil Precision Bass (Bridge/Middle) pickups that give it the perfect tone for standing out in the mix and, with the master volume and tone controls, will provide just enough tone-sculpting potential to work well in any genre. The instrument further features a 3-ply white pearloid pickguard, vintage-inspired chrome hardware including Fender/Hipshot “Lollipop” tuners and HiMass bridge with chrome plated zinc saddles for superior sustain and string vibration transference, and Fender USA Bass 7520M, NPS (.045-.105 gauges).
