An album of thirty short songs with funny program titles and illustrations by Andrey Tacheza proves that etudes do not have to be boring at all. Each has its own mood or even story, with its melodic accessibility and sonic modernity it is more reminiscent of lecture miniatures. There are all diatonic tones in the album and each etude solves a specific technical problem.
When you play all the etudes, you will be well versed in all major and minor tones and you will also improve your reading notation, the author Jakub Metelka (born 1986), composer, pianist and pedagogue, is convinced of that.
