Set of dampers that allow drummers to control sustain and overtones from their drums. They employ a specially formulated gel that has got the right weight, thickness and elasticity for the job. The set contains two small and two large pads to provide handy options depending on the size of the drum and the amount of dampening required. The dampers can be easily re-applied or removed, which makes them an extremely versatile sound control device. They offer a really sticky surface that will adhere firmly to coated or clear heads and they can also be used to suppress cymbal overtones for muting excessive ring, enhancing stick definition or bringing any high-end frequencies under control. As an added bonus, they can be used as a handy drum bumper – simply place them on the drum shell to protect the lacquer or wrap against hardware or other shells positioned too close.
