The new ‘French’ brass design with its G2 detachable neck system offers even broader expressive capabilities with wide dynamics, precise intonation, and a gorgeous sound with rich harmonics. The saxophone comes with two necks – one straight and one curving – to suit different playing preferences. Its lower vent tubing design reduces noise on lower vent key action, while the revised rib plate provides a solid feel while enhancing resonance. Newly designed yellow brass keys with mother-of-pearl buttons are more comfortable and ergonomic. Adjusting pilot screw features new bullet tip adjustment screw design which allows for optimal maintenance. Hand engraving style on the bell adds beauty and style. The instrument further features an adjustable thumb rest to allow for precise and comfortable hand and fingering position, drawn tone holes and front F and high F# auxiliary keys. It comes equipped with Yamaha 4CM mouthpiece with yellow brass cap and ligature, waterproof leather and wool felt pads with plastic tone boosters, blue steel needle spring type and ribbed and flanged mounting.
